W/E 28.10.23 - XC Maverick Suffolk

First up this week we look back to Saturday; **Maverick ARUK Original Suffolk Event** Hosted from Wantisden Hall near Woodbridge - The Maverick Race ARUK Original Suffolk trail event took place in the Suffolk ANOB, raising money for Alzheimer's Research UK , and had three separate length races on the day; Short (9km), Middle (17km) & Long (24km).

On the day we had 5 runners - Lauren Smithson took on the middle distance and completed the course in a time of 01:39:35. All 4 of the other WAC runners on the day took part in the Long distance race - Gareth Seville was first WACer home in a time of 1:45:16 finishing 7th place overall. Jamie Harris (2:00:38), Danni Beuttell (2:23:34) and Sue Stirling (2:29:23) all completed the course through three National Nature reserves.
