It's a short and sweet weekly report for this week's review - we had only 5 runners over three events for the quietest week for a long time.
First up was the most local race of the three and a trip back to Broadland Country Park
**Broadland XC Series Race 3**
The 3rd a final race of Broadland Country Park Cross Country Series Race 3 hosted by Norwich Road Runners - first home for WAC was Adrian Hall in a time of 40:52 prior to Tracie Draeger (51:45) and Andrew Lane (51:57). Well done to all three as they all achieved age category finishes on the day; Adrian Hall 1st 🥇 M60, Tracie Draeger 1st 🥇 F60 & Andrew Lane 3rd 🥉 M65 - well done to you all! 🙌🏻
Next up we keep with XC;
**Lavenham Old Railway 10K**
The Lavenham Old Railway 10K was held in the heart of rural Suffolk, the route followed much of the old railway track bed, making for a true cross-country experience with an ever-changing terrain. This was experienced by our sole representative; Tony Beales . Tony completed the course in a time of 46:15 finishing 11th position overall after a strong run and one our XC captain recommends! Well done Tony! 🙌🏻
For our last report we head to London;
**Victoria Park Half Marathon**
Mark Armstrong travelled down to North London, just the other side of the A12 from the London Olympic stadium, to take part in The Victoria Park Half Marathon, hosted by RunThrough.co.uk events. Mark completed the event in a time of 88:14 - top work Mark! 🙌🏻
