W/E 22.06.2024 - Netherlands Half Ironman & Norwich Triathlons (Sprint & Standard)

Our weekly review now focuses on our Triathletes –

**Netherlands Half Ironman🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃 70.3**

First up we travel across the English Channel to 🇳🇱Amsterdam🇳🇱 for the half ironman distance – 70.3 miles comprising of 1.2 mile🏊‍♀️ swim, 56mile🚴‍♀️cycle & 13.1mile🏃half marathon to finish – representing WAC over in Europe was our very own Paul Fairchild. Paul completed the course in a brilliant time of 5:23:26 – Well done Paul! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Next up we are slightly closer to home at Whitlingham Country Park for the Sprint & Standard distance, surperbly hosted by Tri-Anglia –

**Norwich Triathlon🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃**

In the sprint (750m🏊‍♀️ swim, 18km 🚴‍♀️bike &🏃5km run) we had a single representative – Jamie Harris finishing in a time of 76:53, finishing 20th overall and 3rd🥉 in his category – Well done Jamie! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

In the standard (1500m🏊‍♀️ swim, 38km🚴‍♀️ bike & 10km🏃run) we had 5 WACers – Harriet Carr was first home in a time of 2:20:29, finishing 2nd🏆🥈 female overall, followed by Juliette Watkinson (2:29:12) finishing 1st🥇 F40, Kevin Frazer (2:35:04) finishing 1st🥇 M60, Hannah John (2:51:39) finished 3rd🥉 F30 & Julia Kennelly finish in a time of 2:58:32. Well done to you all! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
