W/E 22.03.25 - Orion 15, Overall club record 10k & others

First up on this weekly review we look back to our Saturday race in the ⛰London hills⛰;

**Orion 15**

Two WACers made the trip down to Adam Baker’s old stomping ground, Orion Harriers , for the gruelling 15 mile trail course through the 🌳🌲Epping Forest region🌲🌳 - Matt Webster was home first in a time of 01:52:46, finishing 27th overall. Matt was joined shortly afterwards by David Powles in a time of 02:14:48 - well done you two! 🙌🏻

Next up we round up our other runners, firstly our WAC abroad;

Tracy Stevens (AGPB🎖️) took on the 🇪🇸 Malaga Half Marathon, finishing in a time of 2hr 40sec. Louise McDonnell took on the Bedford Harriers Oakley 20 miler, hosted by Bedford Harriers AC – finishing in a time of 2hr 19min 2sec and a 1st🥇 F45 finish. Susan Guest was slightly closer to home for the Keith Hall Memorial 10k hosted by Thorney Running Club – Sue finishing in a time of 51:18. Lastly, we head to Cheshire for the Pulford 10k and a new Club record🏅! Aidan Banfield took on the event hosted by Run Cheshire and completed the course in an amazing time of 31:11 (CR🏅 PB🎖️) – a new 🚨shiny🚨 Personal Best but also lowering the 10k overall club record in the same time – Congratulations Aidan & well done to all listed above! 🙌🏻
