**Reedham 10 mile**
The first race of the Sportlink Specialist Sports Ltd GP series, part of the Athletics Norfolk & Norfolk Road Running calendar, was hosted by Great Yarmouth and District Athletic Club this Sunday. The undulating route, which began and ended at the village hall, took participants through the scenic local countryside, including an initial brief tour through Reedham and along the River Yare.
Leading the way for WAC with an impressive time of 61:20 was Chris Bullock (AGPB🎖️), followed closely by David Houghton (AGPB – 61:58🎖️) and Gareth Seville (PB 🎖️– 62:54) to complete our top three men’s finishers. On the women’s side, Kate Gooding was first home for WAC in 73:27, followed by the returning road runners Caroline Houghton (74:08) and Kathryn Heaney (77:18); both making a strong return after extended periods on the sidelines due to injury. It was fantastic to see Caroline and Kathryn back in action!
