W/E 13.01.24 - Ryston XC - Race 4

This week we carry on the with XC season🐾 after the brilliant Norfolk County Championships from last weekend – we had 8 runners track across to the West of the county to 🌲Shouldham Warren🌳 for race 4 of the Ryston Runners XC series. This month’s race was over the (nearly) 5k distance within the Forest park area – thankfully the runners only needed to take on the lung zapping hill once over this distance!First back for WAC was Stephen Woodcroft (17:59) followed by first WAC female Jet Watkinson (19:17) – Jet first female overall🏆🥇 home on the day.

Our age category winners on the day were; Stephen Woodcroft 2nd🥈M40, Adrian Hall 3rd🥉M55 (20:41), Claire Woodcroft 3rd🥉F40 (21:10) & Kathryn Heaney 2nd🥈F35 (22:43). They were joined by some amazing running by Tony Beales (21:54), Dee MHB (27:24) & Mark Tufts (23:56) – Tufty looking for more of a challenge by missing the start time completely and making his way through the field from the back.
