W/E 06.07.2024 - Outlaw Holkham 70.3, Great North 10k & Peak District Ultra

Next up we travel North, all the way to Newcastle as Dave Evans took part in the Great North 10k – Dave completed the course in a time of 55:13. Slightly closer to home was Niall Scott, taking part in the Peak District Ultra Challenge 2024 – with various options over the weekend; Niall took on the 52km Ultra and completed the undulating course in a time of 9:06:56. Well done you two! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Back in Norfolk 🇩🇪 – we look at the Outlaw Triathlon Outlaw Half Holkham Weekend. First up on Saturday it was the male contingent – Kevin Simpson took on the 10k – completing the course in a time of 46:27 in warm muggy conditions 🥵🔥 on a surprisingly undulating course⛰. Next up was the new Gravel sprint event where Paul Fairchild took on the 750m🏊‍♂️ swim, 19km🚴 cycle & 5km🏃 run and completed the course in a time of 94:41 finishing 20th overall & 4th M45-49. Well done lads! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Now – here come the ladies in the Holkham Half Ironman event – we had three representatives taking on the 1.2mile🏊 swim, 56mile🚴‍♀️ cycle & half marathon run🏃‍♀️ to finish – three times around the estate and up that hill⛰⛰⛰😱! First back for WAC was Harriet Carr in a time of 5:15:29 to finish 5th female home and 2nd🥈 F35-39, followed home by Julia Kennelly (6:30:17) & Janine Daynes (7:20:04) – well done ladies, amazing effort! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
