First up on our weekly review we look back at the long distance races over the weekend: -
**Brighton Marathon**
We had only one WAC runner on the south coast this year at the Brighton Marathon Weekend; Adam Masterson romped home in a time of 3:19:00 in the 💨blustery conditions💨 on the south coast – well done Adam! #TeamWAC 💜🤍💜🤍
**Tenerife Half Marathon**
A bit further away from home and we had a single entrant in the 🇪🇸Tenerife🇪🇸 Half marathon – a recurring theme within WAC currently to find a local race whilst on holiday! Trent A Terry was our representative and he ran a time of 2:07:40 in ☀️🔥sizzling conditions🔥☀️ – well done Trent. #TeamWAC 💜🤍💜🤍
**London Landmarks Half Marathon**
A very popular race within WAC over the last couple of years – the London Landmarks Half Marathon – takes you around all the beautiful landmarks our 💂🏻♀️🇬🇧Nation’s capital🇬🇧💂🏻♀️ has to offer and back along the North of the Thames to finish off by Downing Street…. Basically the nice part of the London Marathon. We had five runners in the big smoke – Keith Blake was first home in a time of 1:49:34 followed by Tracy Stevens (2:03:41) – 60th Half marathon out of her goal of 💯! Elise Aho and Elaine Kleinberg (PB🎖️) finished in a time of 2:11:55 and Rob Stratton came home in 2:14:59.
From the Sportspark UEA Athletics Norfolk spring track meet we had a single entrant – Adam Baker took part in the 2nd heat of the 3000m and romped home in a time of 10:09 not only to finish 1st 🥇 M50 but to set a new club record 🏅 – Well done Adam! #TeamWAC 💜🤍💜🤍
