W/E 03.02.2024 - XC fun

Next up we look at the XC items from last weekend – firstly Team Captain Tony Beales was joined by his wife Dee Middleton Hall-Beales + previous member Sophie McLaren at the Lavenham Old Railway 10k hosted by Raw Trails Events  – both made their away around in respectable times of 52:09 & 67:55.

Elsewhere it was Race 2 of the Horsford XC Series  and our XC crazy members were at it again – jumping in and out of cold water for the second weekend running. Matt Webster (36:04) returned home first for WAC and 1st overall 🥇🏆 for his second win in two weeks after the Reepham XC – Alison Armstrong  (42:16) narrowly missed out on a double herself; finishing 2nd Female 🥈🏆 home however 1st🥇 F40-44 with Kate Gooding (42:41) just behind her as 3rd female 🥉🏆. The final WAC 3 to return all were in Top 3 Age category places – Adrian Hall 1st🥇 M55-59 (43:42), Mark Tufts 2nd 🥈M55-59 (46:41) & Robert Scarfe 2nd 🥈M65+ (63:28).
