First up on our weekly review we head back to last weekend and the fantastic Round Norfolk Relay – the 198 mile relay split into 17 stages around the perimeter of our beautiful county. There were 60 teams entered this year and WAC had two, one each in the Open & Club categories.
Our Open team finished 17th overall & 7th out of 37 within the category, finishing in a time of 24hrs 10mins & 21sec – 35 minutes quicker than projected – well done to Dan Brocklehurst , Matthew Adams , Kimberley Powles , Eloise Peek , David Powles , Robbie Starling, Todd Lake , Jamie Harris, Peter Morgan , Craig Skipper , Mark Armstrong , Paul Fairchild , Mark Banfield , Ami Marie , Wendy Watton Burgess, Dani Gilbert & Lacey Bareham.
Our Club team finished 4th overall & 2nd out of 12 within the category, finishing in a time of 21hrs 48mins & 21sec – 16 & a half minutes quicker than projected – well done to Josh Castlo-Hall , Sam Burrows, Claire Brown , David Houghton , Juliette Watkinson , Ross Palgrave , Claire Kent , Kyle Brooks , Kevin Holland , Chris Bullock , Jacob Kenworthy , Louise McDonnell , Josh Brown , Harriet Carr , Aidan Banfield , Claire Woodcroft & Stephen Woodcroft .
