Wymondham Athletic Club (referred to as WAC for obvious reasons) is primarily a road running club, with members participating in road running races all over the UK (and the occasional overseas marathon and half marathon), but we also take part in off-road/trail runs, the local cross country leagues, Parkruns and some track events too.
Our race calendar includes a number of team events. WAC welcomes all abilities (our only requirement is that you can run 5k - eg a parkrun - without stopping).
We pride ourselves on helping and encouraging our members to achieve their running goals and sharing in their sense of achievement when they do. We celebrate our members with an annual gala dinner, as you can see here
We meet Monday evenings (except Bank Holidays) at 6.30pm at Kett's Park Community Centre, Hart's Farm Road, Wymondham NR18 0UR. Announcements are at 6.40pm, after which we go out running in our separate groups. Sessions are geared to match all abilities and are coordinated and supervised by our team of experienced and qualified coaches.
